Charles'
Music
Charles' first
musical love is traditional Celtic Folk from Canada's East Coast and the
British Isles. Inspired by artists such as the Irish Descendants, Great Big Sea,
Stan Rogers, Gordon Lightfoot and more, Charles started performing his own
brand of pub music in 2003, first as a solo artist and then, in 2008, as a
founding member of Kitchener-based Celtic band
Blind Man's Bluff.
Charles has
released two CD collections as a solo artist -
'A Pint of Song' (2006) and
'Home & Away' (2008).
The latter album also showcases some of Charles'
original songwriting, which makes up a quarter of the disc. You can order

 Building on
more than a decade of experience entertaining young children with music
and stories, Charles is now available to help make your next birthday

Music for Worship
Are you looking
for a guest performer to bring a special touch to your worship service?
The son of a United Church minister, Charles has been providing music for
worship since childhood, and can work with your music director, worship
leader, or youth group to add both traditional and contemporary music to
your worship experience, regardless of denomination. He's even been known
to throw in the occasional folk song just to see if people are paying
attention!
